What kind of adhesive do I use to attach a granite vanity surface to the vanity?

The instructions only say, "Apply a bead of adhesive". Would I be using simple caulk for a job like this? It seemed like the vanity I removed was attached to our walls just with a thick bead of caulk to hold it in place. Or is there some other kind of adhesive I should use? Elmer's glue?

Who do I talk/complain to if my maintenance requests are not being taken care of?

I have several maintenance requests that have not been handled since I moved in 5 months ago. My front porch light needs to be replaced (its not a light that can be bought at home depot--that I know of) , my hot water temperature needs to be turned down, all of the outlets in my apt are loose ( anything plugged in will not stay) and my heater/ac doesn't work properly (lukewarm air for both settings). I have left several messages and spoken with the building manager twice and still nothing has been done. I am very frustrated and ready to move out but know that I cannot afford the fees to break my lease. Please help!

Annoying Friends...?

My hubby has a friend who idolizes him. I think he is a nice guy, but I find him really annoying. My husband only met him a short while ago, but when they hang out it's really irritating. I can tell that the other guy's wife gets irritated when they hang out to. Want to know why? What are homeowners insurance companies required to pay?

We had ice storm and lost all our food in deep freeze, 2 refrigerator freezers and some stuff out of fridge. Insurance company says they will only give us $500. That won't pay for all we lost. What about trees that were uprooted and clean up of those trees? They won't pay anything on that. Tree hit Satellite on our roof, they won't pay for that. Satellite company is charging us $50 to come fix it. I just want to make sure they are being legit. I know they try to get out of paying for things. Thanks!

My 15 month old twin boys have been going through a tough time with there ears. Both eardrums on them have ruptured and they need tubes put in and there adnoids taken out. They have needed this done for a couple of months now, but medicaid has been giving me the run around. I reapplied in april but they said they never got my application, so I resubmitted it may 1st. Why is India so poor?

Hi I'm from America and I was just wondering why India is such an underdeveloped and poor country if the people are apparently really smart...I mean do they still ride elephants and camels on the streets? Do people own cars? Is there any modern technology in India or do people still live like they did in the 15th century? I've seen so many times on television and movies that there is so much poverty and the culture is really backwards, is this true? Also in Indiana Jones the Indians eat monkey brains which is weird. Yesterday it loped while I was trying to start it and was erratic while revving, it also had a slight sulfur smell. I put in a fuel cleaner and a full tank of gas and it started running fine again. About fourty miles later it started lopping while driving and stalled. It started, loped and stalled several times more while I tried to get the last five miles home. I didn't make it. The main problem of the FD6 was that some of the default aircraft do not gather enough speed to get airborne during carrier catapult launch thus they (aircraft) loose altitude as they clear the bow and then plunge into the sea. Running short of solutions however, I decided to replace one of the FD6 default aircraft (F18E) with one of the Simviation add-ons (F14d Tomcat "Marines"). Lo and behold, the replacement aircraft was launch off the catapult normally and got airborne. My question is: What changes can I make in the default aircraft configuration (.cfg) that will enable me to increase the acceleration for a successful launch. I enjoy playing with the FD6 missions but the software just so many problems that without the help of the FD6 developers, I'm trying to fix myslef.

I am being unfair to my boyfriend?

My boyfriend constantly misplaces my things and his. It's gotten to the point where I can't tolerate it any longer. The house is a sty, there are things strewn around from floor to ceiling. It's so severe that there is very litle floor space and its a three bedroom, two bathroom home. His mother is the same way she has OCD and hoards and compulsively shops. I know its genetics but somethings got to give. Finding my things in remote places or worse yet not finding them has got me into a tizzy so fierce I plan to move out. A few days ago I asked to borrow his camera. When I planned to go out and buy my own he told him to keep the camera and that it was mine. I declined, not only do I not want to take his stuff away from him he needs it too. And because I know him, I know that it would go missing or he would use it and misplace it. And the pictures do not load, I think you need some kind of secret pword or something and I have no patience left for anymore fustrations. I've been dealing with this nonsense for almost a year and I have been more than forgiving and forgetting. But I've mentioned that I don't like my things to go missing because at one point I couldn't go to work because all of my work pants were gone. I eventually found them but for a week I had to wear the same clothes. So back to the camera. He sworn up and down that he would never touch the camera and that it was mine for good. Again I told him that I didn't want it. I know him very well and I knew something would happen. Later that day I see him using the camera. The next day it was missing. I wasn't as mad as I pretended to me but I was still extremely perturbed. He claims that I am being unfair. I retorted that I predicted this incident because I know him well and he never fails to disappoint. Being honest was mean but in the last year I could count on one thing, that he never follows through. The fact that he doesn't know himself drives me bananas. I just cannot deal with a man child no mo'!!

Why am I running out of hot water?

I took a short shower. I noticed the hot water steadily cool down until it is just lukewarm. I'm the only person living at my apartment. How is it possible that I already used up all the hot water? Could my hot water heater hot be filling itself up with water and I just used the last bit of it? I hear a hissing sound coming from the heater. Everybody has a freakin' LP with a burst finish. I think the goldtop is the most elegant looking LP there is, but that's personal opinion. I know you said not to go into the whole pup thing, but you do realize the '56 uses P90's, not Humbuckers. You can't replace the P90's with humbuckers and make it look right I don't think so be sure you're cool with the P90 thing. I personally love P90's and have two LP's with those pups, a Les Paul Jr. and a Custom Shop 1960 VOS Les Paul Special.

Our volunteer group made up of 8 9th grade girls is trying to set up a tutoring program for elementary school children. I am the one who came up with the idea, and have welcomed feedback from all members. I said we should do it 6-7 in an empty clroom or the library, because after school would not work as all of us participate in sports. In sports we are allowed to stay after but idk how coaches (jv and varsity) will feel about use missing once a week. My friend disagrees and says we should do after school cuz parents of 1st-5th graders won't drive their kids there. I think they will for a purpose, for instance so many families go and spend there money at the book fairs, and pta fair, so y not reap in the benefits of a tutoring program? What is your opinion? it sounds like you could make this story interesting. But you dont have an end in mind or glue to tie your events together. You cant build a path toward an ending or outcome you havent yet figured out. Build your story like a house. Start with the foundation and frame so you have a beginning and end and it will be much easier to create a story. Create the basic frame before the glue!

Molly gave birth to a litter of 11 saint bernards 6 days ago.She ate all the placentas except 3, not that we didnt try to stop her. She went to the vet within 24 hours she checked out great and all puppies checked out great aswell. All the pups are gaining properly, she has no issues with her milk coming in. She is just getting over bad Diarrhea (im sure from wating all the placentas). I gave her some Yogurt the last 2 mornings to help with the diarrehea and some cottage cheese and crushed up some multi vitiams for dogs and she has eatin it. I have her on Royal Canin puppy food, yesterday she ate evening a good size serving, today she just picks, i tired hand feeding and she will eat a bit. No fever, stools are returning to normal and becoming back to her normal behavoiur. Why Does My Dog Have Swollen Paws and Other Symptoms.?

My female dog (part Australian Cattle Dog, not sure what else is in her) has been displaying some odd symptoms lately, the most recent of which is that her back feet are swollen. First, she was vomiting and having diarrhea. Since we had recently changed her diet for variety, we thought this was the cause and switched her back (from Pedigree to Beneful). The symptoms seemed to get better, so we were cautiously relieved. Then it seemed that her spine, strangely enough, seemed to be protruding more, despite the fact that she is a somewhat overweight dog. Her belly also seemed bloated. We noticed this only the other day. Now today, her back feet seem swollen. We are making an appointment with our vet as soon as his office opens, but I would appreciate some additional feedback on what her problem might be. We are very worried and afraid it might be serious. After researching the Internet a little, I don't see any condition which would include the swollen paws. Most sites list allergies or damage from jumping, but this includes only her back feet. It seems too coincidental that her swollen feet don't have anything to do with her other symptoms. How many calories do I burn on a stationary bike?

When I put the figures of my workout into online calculators I get between 700-900 calories per hour. However, the bike says more like between 200-300 calories per hour. So, I went and bought a heart rate monitor. Last night I did 50 minutes on the bike (workload set to 10 pedal speed above 100 the whole time) and my HRM said I burned 803 calories in 50 minutes. So what do I believe? The HRM and all of the online calculators or the stationary bike itself? I know it sounds crazy because I should believe the HRM and the online calculators since they are all basically around the same. Just would like some other opinions I guess.

Is Playing Cornerback the right position for me?

I'm 15 years old 5'5 and 146 lbs. I think I'm fat because I have a gut that's not very visible. I'm kinda fast and I was a RB/CB but they never put me at either position. they always put me at DE or DT during the final 2-3 plays of the game. So, I'm thinking since I'm most likely not to start in high school at DT or DE(which I like to play) I'm thinking about going to a walgreens and buying a box of Acai berry or Hydroxycut. Most likely Hydroxycut, because I want to get skinny and have the body stature of a CB. Since, I'm a eXremely undersized DT/DE/OT I wanted to play OT and DT but I'm too small like people say. Why does my silver tipped shark just spin in a circle for hours on end?

I have a 30 g. aquarium, and my two silver tipped sharks, appx. 6" and 5" long respectively, act so.. erratic. I've had them for about 8 months, and they are always so HYPER. Lately, the larger, "lead shark" has taken it upon himself to swim in a vertical circle at one end of the tank... Is there a reason for these sharks neurotic behavior? My Briggs & Stratton lawn mover puffs out white or black smoke out of muffler in very cold start?

I have a Briggs & Stratton lawn mover 3.75 hp lawn mower and i have a problem. Every time I cold start my mower, it puffs out white, black smoke and smells like burnt oil. Some times it dies when a lot of thick black or white smoke. I started it again and starts out slow then it speeds up when the smoke gets thinner then it stops smoking then it runs fine. I checked the head and its not cracked and the gasket is fine. I saw a lot of oil at the cylinder just sitting there I cleaned it then started it and started fine no smoke. Whats Wrong with my mower? Sitting in a car for an hour is annoying. Sitting in a car for six hours is unbearable. Sitting in a car for twelve hours with your siblings trying to get to your grandmother's house for Christmas is absolute hell. The trip should only have taken seven hours - but, as our eldest brother Johnny never failed to remind us, Polly isn't all that adept at deciphering maps. We had gotten ourselves mixed up in Houston. Johnny was seeing red. Normally, he's a very docile person, a mild-mannered individual, but because he was the unlucky one behind the wheel when we got stuck in Houston traffic for over two hours, he would have gladly thrown Polly, Freddy, and me out of the car just for the sake of revenge on us, despite the familial ties. Oh lord, what hell we went through. Freddy was asleep in the back seat as we entered Houston. This was not good - Freddy was our navigator! Is it any wonder we took a wrong turn? I was riding in the penger seat, and was treated to the lovely sight of Freddy's bare feet resting right next to my head. From beside me, Johnny asked, "So? Which road do I turn off on?" Freddy didn't answer, so I poked his foot, asking, "Freddy? What road?" From behind me, I heard Freddy murmur drowsily, "Mmmmmm... someone is playing footsie with me..." I groaned. "Polly, will you tell Johnny which road to take?" Polly answered, "Uhmmmm... O...kay..." Over the rustling of the map, she told us, "Take the next right, and we should be able to shoot right on through." Johnny nodded and did as she asked. I may have a pilonidal cyst on the cleft of my ox and I've been doing research online and it looks like there are a couple different methods of wound healing. Changing opinions - Middle lobe collapse, pectus excavatum & pneumonia?

Hey all. About 3-4 weeks ago now I became sick. Went to the Doctors and was told it was an upper respiatory infection. Not unusual. I work in Childcare and get sick alot. Was put on antibiotics for a week. 1.5-2wks later, I went back as I was having more trouble breathing and was coughing non stop. Was sent for an Xray which returned saying "Obscuration of the right heart border, suspected medial middle lobe collapse". Went back to my GP, who said I have pneumonia and to take 5 more days of antibiotics and I should feel great. I had a repeat script just incase. Up to day 7 now, still feeling out of breath, no energy chest pain etc.. sent for Xrays again. This one says no collapse or consolidation noticed and that there is mild pectus excavatum. Dr still saying pneumonia. Any idea what all this means? I am sick of the stuff ups!

I hate having to my dog. Please help?

My chihuahua is a great dog. She doesn't yap, she's usually relaxing. I take her to the dog park once a day. I play with her a lot and I allow her to bite, when I am finished playing I (literally) tap her on the head and say "No. I'm done playing." very sternly. Sometimes she gets riled up for no reason and attacked my feet and biting them. When I say no, sometimes she won't listen so I say, "You're going to get ed!" If that doesn't work I give her a swat on the , that usually works. The thing is, it hurts me that I have to her. Bleach smell still in room? Safe?

Earlier today I used bleach to clean a white skirt (had to be hand washed and had a big black spot of grease on it. used maybe a fourth of a cup maybe a bit more.) in my bathroom. I had the door open, window open, and over head ventilator thing on along with the fan on in my room and the door open from my room leading to the rest of the house. This was about 7 hours ago and the bleach smell is still there (not overly strong just that you can tell someone has been using bleach). Is it safe for me to sleep in my room? I still have my door open to the rest of the house and my ceiling fan on.

(Do not do the BTEC level 3 National Certificate - whatever post 16 colleges tell you it does not carry enough UCAS points for entry to virtually any uni) Have a look at a few unis websites for their entry requirements and also try the UCAS website for points equivalences between A levels and more vocational (CACHE, BTEC etc) qualifications.An alternative would be A levels. To teach she will also need grade A*-C in Maths, English and Science as these are statutory requirements - although if missing one of these she can do things like level 2 literacy to make it up - at a later date if necessary. The college should let her do this course if necessary at teh same time as any other course.
