Am i allergic to aloe vera? What should I use?

I thought using aloe vera would help with this rash. Its red and bumpy and is starting to spread a little. I put my regular lotion St. Ives Vitamen E. BUt its make my rash itchy and burn a little. So i stopped. Then i used aloe vera. Its almost got rid of the reddening. But its itchy when i apply it. And then it ompletely dries out the area. I dont know what to use anymore. And i cant afford goin to a doctor!!
