How do people with zero talent make it on TV?

Easy for me to say, i have no talent but i at least know my limitations. Does anybody remember Chris Moyles short lived TV show on Channel 5? Is it an insult for the mighty boosh not to have a prime time show instead of being relegated to BBC3 while Mathew Horne and James Cordon were given a prime time slot on BBC2? Are commissioning editors off their heads on drugs? Whats Chris Moyles talent or John Cordons? all i see is someone who is desperate to be somebodies mate
