How do you explain the great divide between Right wingers and Democrats?

Democrats get most of what they believe from last century socialism and fascism. I don't mean that as an insult but everything they say and do revolves around those two concept like forcing people to eat what they think you should be eating. That is fascism down to the core because Hittler and Mousilini both tried to use the state to force what and how they think those societies should be. Democrats aern't that evil but they do believe in getting society to conform to some ideal and that using government power to do so is fine with them.
