Is Stronghold good for cats with fleas?

My vet prescribed my kittens Frontline,but the pharmacy sold me Stronghold saying is even better.I trusted the pharmacist,but now i got a doubt...Is it really working?Did anyone try it?It's my first time with fleas treatments...
