What type of modification would I need to run a 1406 Edlebrock Carb. in a 1987 Chevy El Camino stock w/ V8 305

a better ignition system will make it handle the gas that one will put out,it has to be able to burn the gas if it enters the engine,other wise it will bog down a lot,go to a high energy ignition system that will also add some kick to it,good luck on it.
