Living together how can the dss claim that?

i been living at a female friends house for over a year now and was claiming but just signed of then got a Visit from a compliance office that told my friend that if after some question that they ask her there might make us claim together but we are just friends so do not wont to as we are not together just friends so can some tell me what law the dss can use to cl us as together or any website to help thanks
