What exactly was written about lord 'BUDDHA' in hindu vedas,puranas,vishnu puran etc.. And all...?

According to hinduism, buddha is considered as 9th incarnation of lord VISHNU. So where it was specified and what in detail it was mentioned... Thanx in advance.
