Should we result to counseling?

my boyfriend and i are having a baby together, we are also making big plans to leave everything behind and move to another state. we are in love with each other and he really takes good care of me. in the past, i have found him online trying to find other women. he was caught and says he doesnt do that anymore. but how do i know for sure. he also still keeps in contact with other women "friends" that he has had with including his ex wife. he says that they are friends and nothing more, but he keeps all of this seceret from me, and when i find out i get so angry and we fight.if it were so innocent, why would it have to be seceret? i feel that he does disrespect me in this aspect because he has asked me not to keep in contact with my exes and here he is doing it. we have been together for a year with a baby on the way, and i feel that i want to work on this relationship but am afraid that we may need an outsider to mediate and give us advice. would this be a dumb reason to go to couples therapy?
