Annoying Friends...?

My hubby has a friend who idolizes him. I think he is a nice guy, but I find him really annoying. My husband only met him a short while ago, but when they hang out it's really irritating. I can tell that the other guy's wife gets irritated when they hang out to. Want to know why? When this guy hangs out with my hubby...he starts to talk like him and act like him and he agrees with EVERYTHING my hubby says. They say that immitation is the best form of flattery...but damn, it's really annoying! He invited my hubby and I to a party and I refuse to go. It's just so irritating. Should I tell my hubby what I think or just leave it alone and continue not wanting to hang out with them together? What if they become closer friends? Arg! Someone...give me some helpful advice please!
